Blind Pass Resort Condo-Motel

The location was good for the price. The picture are not what it really looks like. Quite a bit older facility than what it shows. Had a funny smell in the room but it seemed to be clean. Couch was extremely uncomfortable and the room was very warm even with the air running. The customer service was excellent and they were extremely attentive. Pool was nice but small. Unfortunately it was too cold to use. They do have washer and dryer but you have to find your own quarters. Went to the local laundromat to get quarters. Floor in the room was super slippery ??? Not sure what they are using to clean the floors with.

This is a quaint, older motel but it is well-kept and clean. The owners Dawn and Justin were friendly and available most of the day. The pool was sparkling clean and the waterfall offered a lovely distraction from the road traffic. Maybe offer more rooms with larger refrigerators for eat-in people like us. All-in-all a nice stay and we will return.

I stayed at this location with my husband, baby, and mother for 6 nights. I can say that it has its good points and some things they could work on. Initially when arriving early I was told that it would be $25 an hour to check in early, thus $75 because we were 3 hours early, this seemed very strange. When I told my husband who was outside w/the baby to come in the owner changed her mind and allowed us to check in like normal. Seemed like they were trying to squeeze me for some extra cash. Second they only clean the rooms once a week when staying longer, they could do it more than that, c’mon. Third when staying six days we were only given a modest bag of small soap/shampoo and when asked for more we were told they usually charged $5 for this, but were given free of charge. Lastly the air conditioning unit looked like it really needed to be cleaned, extremely dusty, lucky we didn’t need to use it. The good points are the staff was very accommodating and informative. The pool was clean, nice and warm! The location is near restaurants and walking distance to beaches, or a short Freebee ride away. The room was clean and the kitchenette worked well for us. Overall I would say it is a good location just quit skimping on some small things.

Our stay was great. This motel is an older facility, but well maintained, in a convenient location to restaurants and to generally get around. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The kitchenette was well equipped, with free on-site parking. The owners Dawn and Justin reside on-site and are always available. They work hard to make their guest comfortable. Our stay was very pleasant. The pool was clean and at a nice temperature. This place is a great value for the price. We will stay again and, will recommend it to others.
